Is Construction Management right for me?

Construction degrees focus on planning, management, costs, law and safety rather than hands-on trade skills. Site experience is a real advantage, but not essential.
What you will study

Not necessarily. Whether you have years on site or are completely new to the sector, Foundation Year pathways are available for adults returning to education or with non-traditional qualifications.

Will I be learning manual trades on this course?
No. Construction degrees focus on professional management, project planning, building law, contracts, costs, and site supervision.
I already work on building sites. Will that help my application?
Yes. Real-world site experience is highly valued by university admissions teams, even without traditional A-levels.
Are there chartered qualifications after graduation?
